Daniel Ignoto

With over 20 years of experience in business strategy, underwriting, and organizational development, Daniel brings a passion for innovation and leadership to BIG’s Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Life & Financial divisions. Prior to joining BIG, Daniel held senior leadership roles at Aviva and Hagerty, where he developed a deep understanding of the insurance industry, including technical underwriting, strategic relationship development, and led large-scale operations.

As Chief Insurance Officer, he is responsible for underwriting strategy, portfolio development, and strengthening carrier partnerships. A key architect of the company’s carrier strategy, he focuses on fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships that drive innovation, profitability, and sustainable market expansion. His strategic approach aligns broker and carrier objectives to enhance efficiency, improve underwriting performance, and maintain rigorous quality control standards, positioning BIG for long-term success while delivering exceptional value to customers.

Outside of work, Daniel is an avid tennis player and fan, enjoying both the sport and its global competitions. He stays active, explores new adventures, and values spending time with family and friends. He has a passion for travel and learning about different cultures.
