Dylan Sammy

Dylan is an insurance broker at Billyard Insurance Group's Markham East location who is focused on helping clients fulfill their financial goals and save money. Before joining BIG, Dylan worked in the banking industry as a Mortgage Account Manager and is now looking to take on the world of insurance. His favourite parts of working in the home and auto insurance industry are interacting with clients and forming strong bonds with them. For Dylan, the most important part of this relationship between the client and the broker is mutual trust. 

He has an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing) from Seneca College, which led to a passion for working with small businesses and non-profits. He uses his creativity and innovation to help them attract quality clients through co-branding, partnerships, and community involvement. He also has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Toronto Metropolitan University in Law & Business, where he learned about various topics directly related to insurance, such as compliance, liability, contracts, and real estate law. 

Outside of work, Dylan is a fan of all sports, especially the Toronto Teams. This passion has led him to volunteer as a coach for local high school basketball teams.
