Steve Nicholls

Hi! My name is Steve Nicholls, and I am the managing partner for the Billyard Insurance Group – Peterborough location. I was born and raised in Peterborough, attending St. Peter’s Secondary School before graduating from Brock University. I entered the insurance industry in 2018, working for a direct writer as a Business Development Agent. I made the jump to Billyard Insurance Group as it has been a lifelong goal to own my own business and help grow a local company. I am very excited to open the first BIG in Peterborough, where I can help offer insurance services to family, friends and its citizens. It is a privilege to provide insurance that fits the needs of our clients while making sure they are properly protected. Our goal is to always put the customer’s needs first, and make sure your expectations are exceeded. We will deliver the “BIG Promise” and make sure you are offered the lowest rates each renewal. 

I have worked for several sports organizations including MLSE (Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment), Hamilton Bulldogs, and the Peterborough Petes. In my spare time, I enjoy playing lacrosse, hockey, golfing with friends and spending time at the lake on the weekends.
