Sylvester Slowakiewicz

Sylvester Slowakiewicz joined BIG’s executive team in May 2019 and is responsible for leading the company’s Personal Lines division. In addition, he is taking part in the development and execution of the company’s strategic priorities, Sylvester is providing broker support as well as training and underwriting for the entire BIG team. His background includes leadership experience in both the direct and broker channels. As an industry expert with over a decade of sales, service, underwriting and leadership practice Sylvester has the product knowledge, business acumen and hands on experience that he readily shares with his team. He is a strong believer of aligning technology with client expectations while never forgetting the traditional ways of brokering that values building life-long relationships with clients.

Sylvester’s native language is Polish. Outside of work he spends time with his family; his lovely wife Yassmine (she told us to say that) and rambunctious broccoli-hating daughter Dalia (she doesn’t know we’re saying that). On occasion, while the two are not looking, Sylvester is known to sneak out to go fishing, camping and enjoying the great outdoors. While still patiently waiting for the sixth installment of “A Song of Ice and Fire” novel series, you will find Sylvester indulging in the great literary work of “Peppa Pig Goes to the Dentist” or “Brown Bear Brown Bear”. Sylvester’s favorite leadership book is “About Face” by David H. Hackworth.
